I just got a PM from aum-offshore that he's selling the upgrade kits now, $58. I wrote him back asking about shipping costs, he only offered EMS and it was $45! I might have to hold off on the kits...

Don't do it, get two small 2S packs and parallel them together like I did above. It balances out the boat much better, I tried running a 4400 size lipo and put it sideways, boat wouldn't turn very...

Haha yeah they get yelled at if they bite them, they mainly just like to chase it. My lab did paw it and send it down the creek upside down about 20 yards before I could catch it. I'm pretty happy...

Ah good call, I spaced that point. I saw one of your posts a ways back about a coupler you used too, that'll just bolt right up to the stock impeller shaft?

Dang with the 5mm shaft? I was looking at those EDF outrunners I posted, they come with a 3mm and 2.3mm shaft so I have options. I'm thinking either the 2600 or 3000.

Well my 2nd motor is down in the Kal-Gard boat, turns out 4800kV doesn't last long on 3S! :D Was showing off and pop goes the rotor. Think I'll stick to 2S from now on or start hunting for a better...

3mm ID and 4.45mm OD. 4.5 would probably work fine and be a nice tight fit.

Great news but bummer about international restrictions...That's just dumb! I attempted to convert my other boat to the graupner impeller but I don't think it's going to work unless I can get a little...
