Valve adjustment screw.

I have the same problem.
I had no compression. I pulled the valve cover and the end of the adjustment with the nut on it was stuck under the rocker arm. It was wedged and holding the valve open. ...

Retracts

Nice job on the retracts.
They really dress up the build.

Retracts

Thanks for the quick reply.
I can't justify that much for a landing gear. Where we always fly, the shore is mostly golf ball size rocks so the gear will not be used to taxi the plane back to shore. ...

Retracts

When I do build my PBY, I wasn't planning on retracts. Now you hsve me thinking about them.

You are really moving fast on the build. I was amazed how much you have done.

Need Gee Bee Islander plans

I picked up an old Gee Bee Islander kit at a swap. I was told that it was complete. Nope. It is missing one of the two plan sheets.
I have sheet 2 of 2, which is the wing. I need the sheet with...

I buy the servos for my water rudders from Traxxas.
They make them as waterproof servos for the cars that run the mud.
They sell them as waterproof and haven't had a problem with them yet. ...

RE: 1/6 scale Sopwith Triplane kit...do they exist??

Manzano Lazer Works is still selling a short kit for a 45 inch span Sopwith triplane. Problem might be the electric nature of it but it should convert to glow without too much problem.
It's a...

RE: 6th Annual Firelands Float Fly This Weekend

I'd have to argue on that first place winner. They drew my name first and I passed on the Mariner and took the FW-190 kit. They pulled his name second and he grabbed the Mariner Seaplane.
Looking...

RE: Pics of my Sea Cruiser II (.40 Size)

I forgot to mention. I was at the Skymasters Midwest Regional Float Fly last weekend. There were probably 5 or 6 Sea Cruisers that flew there on Saturday. Most were .25 size, but a few were the .40...
