RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

I had a lot of fun yesterday, took mine and some neighbor kids down to a small park at the end of the block and ran my truck around a baseball diamond. It was good practice trying to keep the truck...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Lol, took the truck out today, ran around for one tank and bent a rear dog bone. How the heck could I bend a rear dog bone?

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

I wouldn't doubt that the guy lied. He lied about the engine that it came with that's for sure. The body that came with it is an MT2 body. He included an original MT2 manual but I suppose he could...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

I'm beginning to think it's better to just buy the 18ss kit than spend the money putting those parts on my what I have now.

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

My T-15 bolted right up, no motor mounts needed. I was able to use the exhaust, clutch, flywheel and air filter from the .12 that was on it.

Here is a pic;

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

I bought a new HPI T-15 off eBay for $70, I'm almost through breaking it in but I had no problems getting it started or the break in so far. I'm like you, if I start having too many problems with an...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

I think I'll call HPI today 1-949-753-1099 and ask them a bunch of questions about what from the MT2 18ss will fit on the MT2 RTR.

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

There is an excellent tutorial HERE (http://www.wildhobbies.com/news/default.asp?cmd=view&articleid=1233) that explains how to seal your engine. I suggest it for anyone who has air leaks or an older...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Has anyone had problems with these braking?

Just wondering if perhaps mine was slightly cracked already or it's a common...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Good thought Cannon, if we knew the engine temp it would give us more of a clue what may be wrong.

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

I've had 2 or 3 roto starts on different RC's and always hated it. I switched to pull-start as soon as I could.

Off the top of my head I'd say replace the glow plug, reset the needles back to...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Speed is going to depend on the engine. I have a new T-15 and it has plenty of power for me. I'd say it would probably go 35-40 mph which is about normal. If I stuck an O.S. .18 it would probably...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

I use paypal but I don't leave money in the account. As soon as money hits I have it transferred to my bank account. If I pay using Paypal I transfer the money out of my bank account.

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

In some of these pics it looks almost like you've converted the MT2 to an on-road car? Has anyone raced competitively with the MT2? Were you just able to enter the 1/10 touring class or something...

RE: Official HPI MT2 Thread

Hello all,
I had an MT in the past and regretted ever getting rid of it. I finnaly got an MT2 all-aluminum from GPM. I put a new T-15 engine in it and am just going through break in. I really...
