Okay I'm pretty sure I've burned out my stock motor on the SSPII, the speed controller light is red and the servos respond to the radio, except the motor(and no beeping).

I managed to reconnect the yellow wire to the back of the motor using needle-nosed pliers.
The motor beeped once I plugged in the battery so I'm pretty confident everything is back to normal.
