RE: OFFICIAL OFNA DM-1 THREAD

It looks better with the wheel wells cleaned up and the decals applied. I put a regular wing on it that sits above the rear of the body. If I would do it again I would keep the wheel cut outs closer...

RE: OFFICIAL OFNA DM-1 THREAD

This is not a DM-1 but a GTP-2...I just wanted to show that this proline slash body fits on the GT-1 length chassis quite well if you want to make a higher riding set up for drifting and some dirt...

RE: OFFICIAL OFNA DM-1 THREAD

You really have to learn by doing. Softer compounds for colder temps. In the fall ans early spring, we even have had success by putting traxxas anacondas on 8th scale wheels.

Try these and try Impanema tires. Losi has an on road tire that may work on cool conditions.

RE: LST2 Project Idea!

I agree, the truck turns fine as is but I am looking for faster steering and adjustible servo saver. It would cost $220 or more to put in 2 monster steering servos and to change brands would require...

LST2 Project Idea!

I just picked up an LST2 real cheap and I really hate the steering set up. I was wondering if anyone has tried or even thought about trying to combine the front end of the Muggy with the rest of the...

RE: servos

Can you run a single monster servo on the LST or would the servo saver be too week. I cant believe there is not a single servo mod kit out there for this truck.

RE: OFFICIAL OFNA DM-1 THREAD

Over revO, that was a very good presentation. If I had confidence that the OS.28 could be modded to give good fuel mileage, durability, and 65mph + with stock gearing, I would buy one now. But I race...

RE: OFFICIAL OFNA DM-1 THREAD

I agree! The McClaren body is pretty good for speed runs. What are you running as far as engines. The fastest I have seen so far is 67mph from the new OS 28 with mild fangs and polishing in the...

RE: OFFICIAL OFNA DM-1 THREAD

Ipanema tires...or use savage monster truck wheels(17mm) with the traxxas tire that comes on the Jato stretched onto the wheel. This gives a low profile, non ballooning, high traction and durable set...

RE: OFFICIAL OFNA DM-1 THREAD

You dont want 50000 in the rear unless you are drifting. You want 60 to 100 thousand in the front and 3 to 5 thousand in the rear. 2000 wt diff fluid is about the same as 150 losi but they dont make...

RE: OFFICIAL OFNA DM-1 THREAD

The OG DM -1 will out perform the IGT2 and the DM-1 spec if you know how to set it up for the lowest lap times. I cant see why a track ownwer would not alow them to run together. I think they all...

RE: OFFICIAL OFNA DM-1 THREAD

In cold weather, try 100wt Losi in the front and 90wt Losi in the rear. In hot weather try 2000wt diff fluid in the front and 100wt losi in the rear.

That's what I thought...you only have the Corvette and the Audi body for the GT2. If you want to sell the BMW body, shoot me a PM.

RE: OFFICIAL OFNA DM-1 THREAD

The Kyosho GT2 bodies fit but you have to buy the clear ones and paint it up. The only other thing you may want to add is the aluminum braces. The est of the parts are top notch and as strong as you...

RE: 8th buggy , Corr racer conversion

Yes KRO, I agree I will have no advantage over the SC8's but I should be a lot lighter with carbon tray and shock towers and no roll cage. I dont want to drop $40 bucks for a roll cage from AE but...

RE: 8th buggy , Corr racer conversion

I,m converting a Jammin CRT with the BCE small gear conversion to an SC8 sized CORR truck. The SC8 body is a perfect fit and even the body mounts are on the same line as the CRT's. I just have to fit...

RE: NEW! E-Flite Blade Micro CX

RE: OFFICIAL OFNA DM-1 THREAD

You should be ok but I ran mine with a RB C6 modded and the gearing was a tiny bit tall coming out of the hole. I think it is great for the race track with a .21 in it but it is a little sluggish...
