I am loyal to it because I really like the way it handles..... maybe you are just unlucky i guess..

THe outdrives sure didnt last as long as my K-car too but its still within my acceptable range...

Dont worry.. i dont have any excessive wears on mine, so do many ownwers i know, that rumor all started because one "racer" is making a big deal out of it with his "friends"... and he is comparing it...

Are you guys running the stock motor? My outdrive last a long time with a Nova .21 The spur gear did go out on me so i switch to CNC and no problem since

I dont think HPI backplate will work but try it and let me know.

tashspop - I used 30% nitro and good results so far....
