I just upgraded to FLM wide front a-arms, caster blocks and traxxas front bearing carriers. They are much more strong than the stock/rpm setup. I use to bend king pins often.

Watch the heat on the ESC/motor/batteries, if you can touch them and hold your finger there for 5 sec it should be okay, if its getting hot lower the gearing.

Whats the disadvantage in rear arms on the front, I thought you had to drill a hole out or lose some steering? I have been hesitant to do a wide-pede mode because of durability.

Why not just get a used e-maxx, it would be better bigger and could use brushless and have tons more upgrades? Im not a fan of the 4WD pedes I have seen, they look so hacked together, no offence.

What do the CVDs improve? I have not had a problem with my pedes halfshafts at all, they are almost three years old and I have been using the SS5800.

I hope theres some way to stop the wheel...
