Hi Gary,
Bummer about your smaller P-47. At least it wasn't your big one.

I rely on a Smart-Fly Sport power expander on my 1/3 Waco. I run (2) 6v 4200mah packs to the power expander....

I started a complaint thread in the Clubhouse forum, doubt it will do much good. If they do not resolve the issues I will not start another build thread on RCU. My current build will wrap up in 6-8...

Gary,
I think it looks pretty good. With the baffle you have in place I don't think you are going to have to worry about cooling.

For what you get that still is a good buy.
I just invested $250 for rib stitching and tapes for a 1/3 Waco. Building a good scale model is not fo rthe faint of heart;)

How long after spraying before you removed the mask? The paint scheme on my Waco requires alot of masking.

All AMR kits come with the wing jigs and they are nice. You have to really screw up to build a warped panel. I have built 3 AMR kits and they all came out nice.

Your doing good, I spent 20 months on my 1/3 Waco. All the detail stuff takes a while but is well worth it in the end.

I would try just 2 at 1st. The little buggers are pretty strong and the ones closest to the hinge line will not offer as much holding power as the opposite corners. I have them holding the doors...
