I have the powerstrokes on my TNX and they have made a huge difference in all aroung performance. Can't go wrong with them!

Spend your money on the OS cvrx .18! Tower has them for 100 bucks and it's even a little better than the stock motor!

I have read that MIP is going to make them but they won't be out for a couple of months yet. Try to stay off the gas when your landing a jump, it helps relieve some of the stress on the plastic.

I also have changed some of the screws on my truck and currently have about 2.5 gallons on the spur gear. Gear mesh is everything!

Wow, your lucky your lhs supports the TNX. I love mine but all the parts I get have to be ordered through my lhs or internet! I would get the proline edition as well!

I think that the upgrade to the thunder quake universals looks great but I am going to wait for long term reports of people who have done this mod. It is quite pricey for the unknown long term...

I have always had good luck with the OS #8 plug! Most small block engines run better with a medium to hot heat range plug. BB's will use a cooler plug!

I haven't done a teardown as of yet. But your idea of heating up the motor to test for compression is a good one. I will have to look into it more this weekend.

Yeah, I have the powerstrokes and they are awesome. However, the traxxas big bores are a very good shock like crusher03 said, should be what you want for bashing!

well, I have had my .18 for about 3 1/2 gallons now and she is just refusing to start up! I have tried pullstarts and rotostart on it and it just doesn't want to fire up. fresh fuel and glow plugs...
