I can tell you that IMAA regs require a kill switch. Also for your own piece of mind a kill switch is neccesary in case some one spins the prop accidently. This will keep the engine from starting

Here is a thought for you. If you have a small piece of 3/16 wire you can use a piece of brass tube to lenghten the short leg and put the piece of 3/16 inside to stiffen the brass and silver solder...

You could rfit a piece of brass tubimg over the old axle to make it longer and the if you want you can alway fill the open end with a piece of music wire

Been reading the posts here, and maybe my suggestion will work for you. To replicate the metal parts on the Waco you may try using some aluminum flashing you can purchase in just about any hardware...

Perhaps you had better take another look. I am sure that you will see that Cox bought up the rights to produce Pica models and it is now being offere in both 1/5 and 1/6 ARF
