I can tell you that IMAA regs require a kill switch. Also for your own piece of mind a kill switch is neccesary in case some one spins the prop accidently. This will keep the engine from starting

Here is a thought for you. If you have a small piece of 3/16 wire you can use a piece of brass tube to lenghten the short leg and put the piece of 3/16 inside to stiffen the brass and silver solder...

You could rfit a piece of brass tubimg over the old axle to make it longer and the if you want you can alway fill the open end with a piece of music wire

Perhaps you had better take another look. I am sure that you will see that Cox bought up the rights to produce Pica models and it is now being offere in both 1/5 and 1/6 ARF
