That's a very nice looking model you've got there. At an AUW of 10.0 lb I'm not the least surprised that it flew well, after all its a Carl Goldberg Extra.

Over it's now 27 year life span my CG Extra has with different engines weighed from 8.5 lbs with an ST.61 to 11.25 lbs with a stock G23 gasser and the rather extreme weight swings did not in any way...

That a lot of engine for that model, but if you decide to stick with it I would suggest a14x6 prop. Just make sure that you have sufficient prop to ground clearance.

I agree on the 10x6 -11x4 range of props, just try and see which one works best for you on your specific model. The ST uses a long reach idle bar plug and an OS # 8 works best for me running on 10%...
