Gas/Glow adapter

I got a gas/glow adapter from Wacker engines and I can't get the igniter to lock on the glow plug. There isn't enough clearance for it to get deep enough to lock on.

Thanks guys, heating it up did the trick. Held the flywheel in the vise, heated it up and a easy twist with a pipe wrench and it came loose.
