The 140 DZ was definitely on the temperamental side, but it's been fixed since the 160 days. The 170 & the 175 has been pretty much foolproof for me, & I will be flight testing the 185 next week,...

Don't know exactly what the "PN" is stands for, the shape between the wpn & the pn is different. The wpn is wider in both the main blade & the tip, & the shape of the pn looks just like the normal...

I have been using the 20x10.5 PN for two months now, it runs cooler than the 18.5x12 WPN.

I had a long discussion with Richard this morning, and he's glad that YS Japan is taking care of the problem.

I don't think you have to specifically put fins onto the pump area just to cool them. I believe anyone who flies a glow plane with either a chin cowl or a bvellypan already will have an opening right...

The very original prototype 140DZ did have more of a pump issue like "vapor lock", because of the location of the pump, and it also tends to be a bit on the temperamental side like the old 120SC....
