absiolutely my favorite motor.. might want to invest in steel diffs... the power on demand is just sick... have you seen the videos yet on youtube..

The ammo is a great motor,, but with it only being 5100kv and the neu being 7000kv (1105/1.5y) ,,,gearing and cell count will be What will make the ammo do what you want it to do,,,,

Just my opinion,,, but the cost may pay for itself,,, if you already have multiple barry packs that are already 2 cells, it will allow you to keep them instead of going to all 3 cells,,,

Well I have not run the 5100 but I did have the 3900,,, and the permax...
The neu motor is fairly expensive but it is built like a bullet,,, I think they may still be sold at castle creations,,,...

has anyone had any problems with the threads snapping off... cause i keep snapping screws on mine.. just hoping the threaded cvd's are much stronger..

as i stated before.. the mongoose seems to be fine on a smaller track 18th scale... i dont have the luxury of driving on one so i drive on 10th scales.. also.. i have meet with and talked with others...

i think the mongoose would be fine in the detta for smaller tracks,, or 18th scale tracks,, but not anything large,, i had a tough time keeping the one i had cool.. and that was gearing it as high...

any good motor/esc will do.. just make sure the motor is about the same size as the stock motor..
the ezrun esc with the ammo might be a good one.. im not up to date with all the newer systems...

the newer castle motor systems and the novak mongoose... or if your really serious then get a mamba 10th scale sidewinder and the NEU 1105 or 1107 series motor.. and get robinson racing steel...
