RE: Carl Goldberg Ultimate 10-300 Brotherhood.

I haven't tried setting it up for 3d. My E set up has more than enough power for it. But just from my personal "feel" I'd say it's more of a scale type flier.

RE: Carl Goldberg Ultimate 10-300 Brotherhood.

It's not that difficult. But you will need to tie in the landing gear mount to the fuse sides. The mount area is so small that it will rip out easily. I used some aluminum L s to help, and of...

RE: Carl Goldberg Ultimate 10-300 Brotherhood.

Twins are a great idea for electric. Never have to worry about a flame out! I like gas and glow, but I have to say electric has gotten to the point where it can actually be better than traditional...

RE: Carl Goldberg Ultimate 10-300 Brotherhood.

Unfortunatly the plane is in the camper for the winter. I tried to get a couple of pics of the installation, but most of them don't show anything. But this one will at least give you an idea.

RE: Carl Goldberg Ultimate 10-300 Brotherhood.

I'm using the apc E blades. I thought about testing it with the regular props to see if there was any difference in preformance. But never seem to get around to doing it.

RE: Carl Goldberg Ultimate 10-300 Brotherhood.

Thanks! This was my first real electric project. Before that it was a few foamies etc. However I have to say flying E isn't as "green" as some would say. I go to a lot of area gatherings...

RE: Carl Goldberg Ultimate 10-300 Brotherhood.

I'm using a turnigy 50-65 380Kv / 1820w motor 5000mah 6cell, 90 amp speed controller and an APC 18x10 prop.
Flight times aren't bad, has plenty of power (cruises about nicely at 1/4 throttle)
