RE: VQ P-61 CONTRUCTION

Mboland,
That could work, thank you. If you could include a couple of pictures showing ends and interior that would be great also.

RE: VQ P-61 CONTRUCTION

duanen,
I thought of using the Evo 26 also, but when I got into the airplane I don't think there is enough room in the booms for the ignition and battery. Once the gear, servos, and fuel tank are...

RE: VQ P-61 CONTRUCTION

Tomas,
I know how he feels, no matter how much I work on mine, don't seem to get any closer to finishing it. Then again, that's probably cause I keep on changing this, modifying that - oh well,...

RE: VQ P-61 CONTRUCTION

I had a...

RE: VQ P-61 CONTRUCTION

Tomas,
Hate to say, I haven't touched the 61 in months. Then again, I haven't been home except for 2 weekends this year with the racing schedule we've had. Now with Force hurt, don't know whats...

RE: VQ P-61 CONTRUCTION

Nemesis4u,
Any news yet on the pilot and crew figures? Back racing again, so probably won't be able to finish mine AGAIN for some time.

RE: VQ P-61 CONTRUCTION

Thought you guys might want to see these from the Mid Atlantic Air Museum in Reading, PA. I could just about walk under the plane in the hanger. I was the only one there, it was great!

RE: VQ P-61 CONTRUCTION

Walt,
I might have missed it in an earlier post, what size 4-blade props are you using on your YS engines. Just how well do they work?

Thanks again!

RE: VQ P-61 CONTRUCTION

p61widowrc,
I too have a P-61 to assemble and have been looking at the RCV 1.20. According to the info on their website, it measures just under 5" from the mounting to the prop washer, so not sure...

RE: VQ P-61 CONTRUCTION

Having just recently purchase one of these P-61's, I haven't decided on engines yet. I'm looking for some suggestions. Has anyone considered the MVVS/Evolution engines? Specifically the 26GT, as...
