RE: AeroWorks Edge 540T 46-60?

I'm not sure about the 125, but I can definately say that my 100 mounted in the stock position does not bend the mounts.

The issue I had was one of the blind nuts on the inside of the firewall...

RE: AeroWorks Edge 540T 46-60?

I'm mounting in the stock position...at least I'm trying to. I'm having a devil of a time w/the blind nut that popped loose. Trying to get it epoxy'd back in right now. Hopefully it holds.

RE: AeroWorks Edge 540T 46-60?

Made some decent progress today. I'm up to engine installation. I ran into a bit of a problem. I cross threaded a bolt going into a blind nut and it broke free of the epoxy holding it in. I...

RE: AeroWorks Edge 540T 46-60?

I got mine in this evening:D

Stalled on step 1, gluing in the ca hinges. My bottle of thin CA is rock solid hard....guess it's been around awhile. Nevertheless I'm done until I can swing into...

RE: AeroWorks Edge 540T 46-60?

I've been waiting about a week and a half for mine. I've been tracking it slowly across the US from Colorado to Ohio. I think I've read through the instruction book about a dozen times now......at...

RE: To foam Rx or Not ?

I just installed a new 2.4 in one of my planes. I placed foam on the bottom where the receiver sits and left the receiver exposed, holding it in place w/zip ties.

RE: AeroWorks Edge 540T 46-60?

My Edge is scheduled to be delivered today. I'm excited to get started on it!

I've been debating between a saito .72 and a saito 1.00, both of which I have currently with the only problem being...

The balsa tree

I thought some of you might be a little bit interested to learn more about the balsa tree considering how dependent we are on it for our wonderful hobby. I'm a forester by trade so I have a natural...

RE: AeroWorks Edge 540T 46-60?

RE: .41-.61 Edge 540 ARF

Helps quite a bit actually, thanks for your input. I've been going back and forth on what to do w/the engine. I first thought eh, the .72 would be fine. Then I read that thread and a lot of the...

RE: .41-.61 Edge 540 ARF

After reading the bulk of that thread, I think i'm gonna go ahead and do some engine swaps. I have a Saito 100 in my four star 60. I think I'll put the .72 saito in it and move the 100 over to the...

RE: .41-.61 Edge 540 ARF

Just spoke w/aeroworks. They said at my altitude the .72 should be fine. It won't stand on the prop w/a .72 but otherwise should be good. That's fine by me anyhow, I'm not really into 3D at all. ...

.41-.61 Edge 540 ARF

I just ordered this plane. Really excited to get started on it.

My plan is to put a slightly used Saito .72 that I've had on the shelf for awhile. Will this be enough of a power plant for this...

New Plane Reccomendation

RE: On Board Glow Driver

hmm, might consider that. Perhaps run that lead wire through the firewall and install on the side of the plane somewhere?
