Hello all:

I'm just wrapping up an ARF build (aeroworks edge 540) so I'm on the look out for my next project. I'd love to have a warbird in my hangar...just curious what you guys think would be...

I'm not sure about the 125, but I can definately say that my 100 mounted in the stock position does not bend the mounts.

The issue I had was one of the blind nuts on the inside of the firewall...

I'm mounting in the stock position...at least I'm trying to. I'm having a devil of a time w/the blind nut that popped loose. Trying to get it epoxy'd back in right now. Hopefully it holds.

I just installed a new 2.4 in one of my planes. I placed foam on the bottom where the receiver sits and left the receiver exposed, holding it in place w/zip ties.

Just spoke w/aeroworks. They said at my altitude the .72 should be fine. It won't stand on the prop w/a .72 but otherwise should be good. That's fine by me anyhow, I'm not really into 3D at all. ...

I have a saito .72 and all the servos/receiver etc. for a new plane...just don't have a home for 'em yet.

I was hoping to find maybe a .40 size sport plane (maybe and Edge or Yak) to install...

hmm, might consider that. Perhaps run that lead wire through the firewall and install on the side of the plane somewhere?
