You would be good with motors around the 1800 - 2200kv in buggy.

Use some 5w30 synthetic car performance oil.
Afew drops and turn over teh motor a few times and you sorted.

I have tuned a good few of these motors as well as sold many to guys and have yet to have any hassles.

Use teh base setup from the manual and make small changes from there.
Works well for most local guys that run Losi buggies.
When in doubt go back to teh base setup and start again.

dont see a need to change the clutch setup other than to run 2 ally and 2 carbon.
the local Losi guys get plenty life and great performance with only teh truggy guys having occassional wear issues.

I use both but am faster and smoother with stick.
Pistol type i tend to overdrive as the movements are not natural and fluid like when using teh sticks.

Its a good way to tame down throttle response especially with offroad cars.
I run all my cars with at least -25% exponential.
Makes for smoother corner exits and control.
I always recommend...
