Thanks .. I like the scheme. Very easy to see :)
I'm using 5200's weighing 1200g. I could go smaller in pack size/weight as I'm only using 3200mA for P15 on average even in wind. No problem with...

Recently got mine in the air . . 22 flights on it now, and it's a great flying airplane. Just a real pleasure to fly.

It does everything easily and I have no issues with the build quality or...

RE: 55AX mid throttle issues, fixed I think

Yep . . Mine and others I know of do exactly the same thing. For what it's worth . . i have ALWAYS run an 'F' from my pre EP Pattern days. It's no good for slope soaring balast . . any other ideas...

RE: F3A Results - SPOILER

I'd rather not know,Jas . . It would do my head in ! ;-D

A friend once saw a bird launch itself and crash in the wind . . he said "That's it, I'm packing up . . even the 'experts' can't fly in...

RE: REGULATOR FAILURE

I have used these Jaccio regs (with switch) in my last 3 planes without a problem. They seem super reliable.

RE: Sebart Wind S Pro

Meaning typical mass produced ARF's for distribution to Hobby Shops . . certainly not comparing to builders supplying limited ARF's to specialist hobbyists.

RE: Sebart Wind S Pro

The Wind S Pro is made in China by HAIKONG MODELS who are arguably the best manufacturer of ARF's in the World and manufacturer for a LOT of the well known "name" brands. This is my 4th Haikong built...

RE: Angel S EVO Build Thread

I have only ever used 5S in this plane, and everywhere from Flitemax 3000mAh to Zippy 3700 & 4000, and Hyperion 4350mAh.

It lands much nicer with the 3000 pack and is a little more "fun" to fly...

RE: SAP 180 (Syssa Performance)

Bob . . having used velocity stacks before, it does little (on it's own) to improve intake noise. The inlet track needs to be baffled. i.e. the air gets in, but the sound bounces off the baffled...

RE: Is 4000mah enough?

Yes . . if Joe is flying a 2M, but I believe it is a Wind 110. The Integral is 1kg (2.2lbs) heavier and has more drag than the Wind 110 (Wind 110 has MUCH thinner wings). That makes a big...

RE: Is 4000mah enough?

Hi Joe,

Depends really . . you have a Wind 110, right ?? Is it 8S or 10S??

A friend of mine flew the Wind 110 in F3A with Rhino 3700mAh and it was fine. He started with 8S but wasn't that...

RE: Two Half Rolls

What airplane are you using? Is it in a 45deg upline or downline? or horizontal?

If it's a good (and gotta be well trimmed) 2M airplane and it's in the 45's it should just about be fine with...

RE: SAP 180 (Syssa Performance)

Yes . . a kart racer for 16 years, I can attest to that. Images below are of a typical air box and adaptor. I am not sure, but with an adaptor like the one pictured, I think you could still leave...

RE: Wind Correction - Stalled Maneuvers

Not much ! . . When the airplane is in the stalled condition it is not flying, so is at the mercy of the conditions. Relevent sections of the FAI-F3A rules are below . . ;)

RE: Extreme Flight Vanquish 2M no BS

Only the stab is adjustable on the Pro . . Wing is fixed. Naturally after flying, you can adjust the wing pin holes or fit adjusters. No point doing something beforehand as it could all be wasted...

RE: Pitch vs Vertical Perfomance & Downline Braking.

I was running the 18.1 x 10W on an piped OS160 in a Integral. It was good but seemed a bit too much prop for it, and I am SURE it would be too much for a 140RX. I now use a 18.1 x 10 cut down to 17...

I use JR 8411's BUT the "SA" version (DS8411SA). I believe it stands for "Special Application"?? These servos have a nylon gear train and I think this range was introduced for Pattern. I...

True . . but surely not ALL the entry list are "top pilots" . . or sponsored. I am thinking that only a select few get "free" stuff, otherwise who are the "top guys" and the companies promoting to. ...

RE: Servos For 2M

I use JR *SA's in my pattern planes and Hitec 7955TG's in my IMAC plane. The JR digitals have been super reliable and very smooth and accurate. The Hitecs are a bit "steppy" when compared, and the...

RE: Sebart Wind 110

:)

I meant that it's how I determine if it's thrust or rudder (not just a rudder check . . sorry not very clear there ;) ). If it's deviating early in the vertical, it's probably rudder . . if...

RE: Sebart Wind 110

Hey Wilson . . I have always done it like this;

Fly the plane directly away from you and into the wind (calmer is better); Pull to a vertical with wings level. Use elevator only . . no other...
