You understand incorrectly, increasing the load and lowering the RPM will require less fuel. If the plug says rich now it will only say drowning with the heavier load. Install the prop, and adjust...

Yes, you should adjust your carb when changing prop sizes. The load on any engine has very much to do with tuning.</p>

Not yet but I will here in a couple of days, I have one here that....well.....lost a fight with a tree,  bent the nose of the crank. I'll email you some pictures when I get it apart.

It's not.

Though larger props can help an engine generate more heat, it's not the prop that overheats the engine. The user not providing proper cooling or heat management for a given load is what...
