RE: Lanier 94" Yak help

I actually went with the outboard location for the aileron servo. It measured up to be the closest to the center of the control serfice. One thing I will gripe about just a little is the hard point...

RE: Lanier 94" Yak help

RE: Lanier 94" Yak help

First I have to point out that this the way I build my planes, it may not be the way everybody else does it and I don't care! In the pics you will see how I lightened the canapy floor, single servo's...

RE: Lanier 94" Yak help

My all up weight is...

RE: Prototype H9 Sukhoi 26

Mike I know you intended this plane for the da 85. I have a older 3w 75i, do you feel this engine will work ok or is the 85 that much better. I have been waiting for a 33% Sukhoi for a while to put...

RE: GREAT PLANES YAK 54 BUILD THREAD

If you want to simplify things go to your local Napa and get bonded washers. I use these on all my planes. It is a washer with a oversized hole and rubber fused to the back side. I am sure all will...

RE: GREAT PLANES YAK 54 BUILD THREAD

I would think it would work just fine. A guy I fly with has a Goldberg Obsession with the 1.60 in it. That is a great combo and much lighter than the yak.

RE: Great Planes 25% Yak 81" 12-lb, seen on Fly3D Magazine

My yak balances on the aft most cg, I think that is something like 5 and 5/8 inches. It is perfect almost no input needed for inverted flight. It has no adverse effect on flight, lands like a dream....

RE: Great Planes 25% Yak 81" 12-lb, seen on Fly3D Magazine

FLYMAN:

the 5945 was replaced by the 5985. The 45 had no bushing to support the gear on the top case. The 85 has a brass bushing doing this job. The problem seemed to be poor alingment on...

For my radio operated kill on all my planes, I use the engine kill function on my radio. It simply closes the throttle butterfly and the engine quits.
