have i done enough to run in my motor?

half of it is a rectangle, have is a cylender. You stick the rectangle in where the brushes go, and turn the axle. Then you rub the brushes around the cylindrical part....

that's plenty, did you take the pinion off? cuz while breaking it in, it can't have any stress or load on it.
