RE: Poju Stephansen Models

Well, the Maximum 9 (1969) was around well before Miss Norway (1973) so I think Poju probably influenced Ernst.

RE: Poju Stephansen Models

Thanks Magne - so much for my Galloping Ghost theory [:o]

There must have been more about Poju published in Norway; after all he was your top F3A flyer for many years. I just gotta find some...

RE: Poju Stephansen Models

Top man Bo - I knew you would be able to dig up some more information from your part of the world. I take it FLY-NYTT is a modelling magazine. Wonder if they had a plans service or ever featured any...

RE: Poju Stephansen Models

This is the Maximum 9 as flown at the 1969 WCs. Used an HP61 and Kraft radio. Nice simple low winger with fixed gear. You can see where the well known Miss Norway design originated ;)

RE: Poju Stephansen Models

This is the Maximum 7 as flown at the 1967 WCs. Perhaps the most unusual of the series I would really love a plan or drawing of this one :D

RE: Poju Stephansen Models

This is the Maximum 4 as flown at the 1965 WCs. It used a Merco 61 and Bonner Digimite radio. Bit of a Stormer/Citation influence in this one.
