I went through all this BS with a Magnum .91 and I have to say, that after spending $180 plus shipping and ending up with an engine that did not perform well. I then bought an OS .91 which I paid $50...

I think I would skip the mods, at least in my experience they run about as good as thier going to out of the box. To bad about APC prop prices, they are cheap in the US and work well. It 's greeat...

When you get a chance how about some numbers with an APC 16/8 for comparisan purposes, thats sort of the standard prop.

I was thinking my thrust calculator was a bit optimistic, What do want for free, I will adjust my calc down a bit when using it in the future. Thanks for the real world advise.

According to my thrust calculator, Thats 2.6 hp and 21 pounds of thrust which is right in line with what should be getting. I'm a little puzzled though, the directions say to break that motor in on a...
