Why in God's name would you not buy a starter box. Forget the roto starts buy you a starter box. If you don't want to spend the money to buy one new get a used one off ebay.

use the idle trim on you transmitter to lower the idle. that should be the easiest way. the worst thing you can ever do is go turning screws on your engine if you don't know what you are doing.

There is no reason to buy a .26 engine if you are even thinking about racing. Get the nova rossi p5x or the vspec. You will be able to handle the power fine and you will have a top of the line...
