Yes, she will fly slow. It will 3 point land at what looks like fast walking speed. I will have to get my buddy to take some video and post it.

I think the cowl will look good. It will cover up the engine, and all the other stuff hanging off the front of the plane.

Here is the basic fuselage that weighs just over 3 lbs. Home Depot foam with hardwood blocks for the gear mount and wing tube. Strips of thin plywood on the outside for stiffness.
