Get the 'tip' balance as close as possible. 'tip' balance has the the blade tips at the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock position. If this is close, you will be fine.

Do you have a good balancer?

18x8 should be fine. My buddy has a ccrc 40 and he has a 20x8 PT carbon fiber prop turning about 7500rpms. Your 18x8 should turn about 7000rpm or so, new. It will get stronger as it gets more...

My favorite setup.
Glow - Alpha 60 with an OS or TT PRO engine.
Electric - Sig Kadet with a E-Flite 46 on 4 cells.

We train on both (Electric, Glow) as long as there is a compatible buddy...

That's the pulse line. I removed the black line, and replaced it with 1/8 ID Tygon.

I have only used the Biela 23x8 2 bladed prop on a DLE55. Nice prop, IMO. It might be above 82db, however.

You could achieve 82db by going to a Biela 3 bladed CF 22x10.

Biela 2 bladed CF props are pretty quite.

Looks like APC 15x4W is my favorite prop, to this point.

I put 6 more flights on the Mojo yesterday, and vertical performance is pretty good. The motor is transitioning better from 1/4 to 3/4...

I was able to run mine a little more last night. I now have 5 8 oz tanks thru the engine.

I tried the 16x4 JC super prop. I think this will work (my apc props are taking forever to get here)....
