Is the radio box too close to the engine. Not sure but I think I heard it should be 3-4" away.

As far as I know, the PUM designates the water-cooled version of the engine (from this mfg.) designed for marine applications.

The marking, on mine, is located on the bottom.

Know I should sand 1st. Should I slip the soaked cloth in the joint between deck and hull (where it's a tight fit) or just resign?

I assume at least 2 phases of glassing. Resecure hull & deck,...

Welcome to Pro Boat.
Have had my 'regular' Shockwave over a year and am still fighting the muffler.
Horizon has 'no listing' for the stock can muffler (or any acceptable muffler) or gasket.

Shockwave 55" with G260PUM.
Need dry tuned pipe w/water cooled flange.
Anyone got one, to feed me info.
Would like to know exactly what to order that will fit. And where.

I play with idle on the controler, to fine tune the idle, plenty.

My 'regular' shockwave sputters when it's gas tank is down to 2/3 empty. Then it catches itself and keeps going.

Try your local hardware store in the nut & bolt isle. You are looking for knurled nuts. Should be in the pull-out drawers. They will probably be made of brass.

Ok, I see one for about $125 and one for about $350. Are there more?

Any recommendations for best case scenario? Ease of getting parts and quality? Not particularly in that order.
