Yes, but invest in a good radio early on. When you start to expand, you will start wanting more channels. Get a nice DX7 as a minimum for yourself. It will be worth it in the long run. My first radio...

All I can tell you is that the recommended was too far forward for me. The plane was slightly nose-heavy, but enough to cause bad pull in knifeedge to the canopy. Moving the CG back helped a ton.

I have been using the stock Hitec servo arms for more than 3 years with no problems whatsoever. I don't use loctite on the screws.

Nah, that isn't optimistic, that's the real thing. 7400 is what people on FG and I are getting with the 23A on the 55. Pull out is great.:D

Is there a reason you're not going with a manual choke? You'll save weight and remove another point of failure. If cutting the engine is your motive, then just you can get an electronic ignition...

Now, I'm confused as to where the CG on my plane is. What I can tell you is that the inverted requires a breath of down elevator which is perfect in my book.
