ah, figured out my steering binding issue... the servo horn on my steering servo is the one that came with my JR servoes. it was flexing everytime i turned it. so it caused the ball cup to get stuck...

id assume its balanced for an aluminum and wouldnt have a drastic effect with the CF one. in my original r40 ive got a CF pipe and there are no balancing issues at all. i just put one more c clip on...

willis, why would you want a centrifigul clutch on it. the centax is soo much easier to tune and its just better.

i think you need the chassis too. cuz the battery pos changed... but im not positive on that, and i assume you just use the skinny flat 5

yea i got the stock ones the green ones. ive got a one-way already. umm chassis is a little too much for me at the moment as iv'e got 3 cars and need a new engine for one and a pipe for my buggy lol....

nice cars. by the way, does anyone have an easy tip on how to get the damn header spring around the engine without de-springing it? ive put at least 3 holes in my fingers now trying to get it around.

with the green pinions and hpi .12 id guess around 50-60 (only a guess) umm servos are really hard to waterproof being that you cant really plug the open holes due to teh fact that they need to be...

yea i dont know too much :eek: church was over-exagerating, 2 major things wrong with it that were my mistakes (clutch was too tight and one-way was backwards) and i havnt really had time to fix it...

agreed, both of those are newer with better technology. however. the r40 is about $150 cheaper

im runnin the front one way in front and the greased one in the back...directions did recomend putting the oiled one in the back. will it make a big difference? as ive been using the greased one and...
