RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

Hey Kemo, I asked in the other thread, but I think I should have asked here. Got any more pictures with the body off? I'd love to see what it looks like in there.

Also, what wheels and tires did...

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

So you think its the HSN right? I dont know at what point in the throttle band the high speed takes over for the LSN. But the LSN definatly is rich, the HSN isn't smoking much at all at higher...

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

Good Post Mozzy. I think you may be on to something. I am infact using just standard AA batteries, instead of a pack and that could be something of a problem. I recall having issues with it before on...

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

Ok, here we go. First of all, I think I might have been wrong on the spectrums quality as I had a possible issue today as a result of using this controller. (So yes, you get what you pay for it...

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

It's a tough decision. One that will end up costing you either way. You just have to figure out rather or not your going to use all the extra features. Personally, It sounds really cool. But I know...

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

Pretty cool radio to me. But personally I don't think any radio is worth that kind of coin. I don't care about telementry and honestly a lot of the people at my local tracks run other options instead...

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

Hey Mozzy, do you mean it's a completely new buggy design or just an improved race design on the current himoto/Redcat 1/8ths? I hope it is.. Cause I want those updated parts! :P

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

Hey Kemo, I was just wondering? What changed your opinion of the Redcat Hurricane? I was reading up on some older forums on the redcat and himoto threads, just to see if theres more tips I could...

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

Same here. I admit, that I've already caught the racing bug (or want to race bug), even though Ive barely had time to play with the car with the problems i've had. I can't wait to see if this car...

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

She's alive! I pulled the engine today (Glad I did, as I noticed the engine mount screws were also not as tight as they should be. Pulled the the pull starter off and found it wasn't broke. Merely...

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

Sounds good Mozzy, I think I will break it open. See if it's fixable (Since it needs to come off anyway.) if broken I will just get another pull cord starter since 24 bucks is pretty damn cheap. And...

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

Hey Mozzy, thanks for the PM and advice. I appricate you taking time to respond as I was left very frusterated. Another reason why I did things stupidly with the engine in the first place is I was...

RE: "OFFICIAL" Redcat Racing 1/8th BUGGY thread (not truck thread)

This thread rocks.

It influenced me to order my Hurricane XP, with starter kit, for 301.00 out the door. That includes shipping.

With the positive reviews, I feel like I made a good choice...
