A tt-01 and brushless don't mix unless it's low power brushless or you're drifting with very slippery tires, in which case you won't need much power anyways.

This is why I like that my LHS carreries some maxamp batteries. So that when I want one I can just run down there instead of ordering it.

Both of those batteries can't put out more than ~30 amps. For an e-maxx you would want something 100+ amps.

I would get an Eagle Tree data logger. It records the run and then you can upload it to your computer. It shows stuff like amp draw and it simple to use.

Today stormer shipped my order that includes a FLM chassis for it. Should be a lot stronger than most of the lexan chassis I've made. They usually end up being strong enough...

I tried handwinding once. Got some cheap magnet wire from the local electronics shop for $2, got a huge roll.

I found it to be one of the most boring things I've ever done. It's super tedious....

The fastest safe combo with the Mamba is a 4600 motor, 4s li-po, and you'll need a seprate BEC for that. But it will blow away the 5700 on 3 cells.
