the 4.6 is a good powerful engine, if youre gonna upgrade i suggest the sts .30 with the sts pipe and clutch shoes, many say u need the pipe as it works better with port timing, some complicated...

yea ure running rich, ure supposed too, when u first get ure truck youre supposed to run it rich for bout 5 tanks, so that the engine can get run in, as the fuel and oil keeps the engine lubricated,...

id also check ure glowplug, and that ure engine head is on properly tight, as i had a problem like that.

Well ive had my savage x ss, for bout 4 months now, and have had no problems what so ever with brakeage but just with the steering now.. i thought my servo was broke as it wasnt moving the steering...

i suggest you do the following

- check youre backplate..
- soak youre OWB in wd40 or alcohol
- open ure pullstart see if theres anything there that shouldnt be
- or purchase another...

i doubt ure axial wud get close to that, the suspension is slammed, and im guessing it aint properly ran in.. i think ure axial wud be left at the line in a cloud of nitrous...
