it seems like the aluminum dynamite shoes and...

it seems like the aluminum dynamite shoes and 1.0mm clutch springs helped the problem. i ran the truck again almost 2 tanks of fuel and no melted gear. will post again after next run,

i just picked up a set of dynamite clutch shoes and stiffer springs to see if that will help. i will post back after i get it to run again. i sealed the engine so all the carb settings are crazy.

yesterday i picked up my backplate and OWB. when i took the motor out of the truck, i found that the old backplate was loose in the motor. thus there was oil everywhere back there and on the shaft....

is there any other way to find out without surgery on the motor??? if it needs to be replaced ill either do the trx engine replacement plan and go 3.3 or get an O.S. engine. not sure which one...

i know that your servo set up you can still run the factory links from the chassis to the axle. on some of the kits i have seen it says they require trimming off the shock mounts
