Yeah I had a cerimonial dump trip the other day.... gone is the bag that was the me109.... now building this one http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8439357/tm.htm much better quality!

For me its also the cost of freight to NZ from the states the original me109 cost me about $NZ650 delivered to my door, now its up around $NZ800 with the crap exchange rate and this plane is not...

Todd I paid $NZ500 for this plane that works out too about $US250 so I am not sure where you got your price from? as for quality I can only look at the BF109F model as supplied with all the mods...

Yes I am afraid I wouldnt touch another one either, I am building a new "big" plane at the moment.....(hey I had to put that ASP 180 somewhere) and I am quite stunned at the difference in quality...

Now every one of these if broken had the control rod arm broken, this one looks pulled out and yes it an aileron servo, I wonder if in some way I did not tighten this one up enough? there are so many...

Well I did the stripdown yesterday..... that it dig through the bits and remove the good stuff one thing I did discover was aa the EZ connectors were rock solid except one.......

I have been out flying all morning today as its now 2pm here, yes I can still fly planes lol as they say get back on the horse...... had a real pounding the last 3 months lost 3 planes all to things...

yes you are correct I always come in fast for the first one and also do several test runs first I would rather come in hot than stall 3 feet off the runway

Yeah its a pain $NZ620 (plane only) gone in the blink of an eye and that was Septembers price interesting to convert it again and the price would now be $NZ775 and there is NO WAY this kit is worth...

Would I buy another ME109? no there were too many issues with it that had to be fixed from the tail ball link to the engine mount still a rather expensive day, the motor seems ok but the exaust port...
