True enough on the 262's......The Germans started putting 190's in the approach to jet bases to keep the Mustangs from jumping the 262's when they were low on fuel and helpless.....I never said there...

What was period wrong...I didn't catch it...unless it was P-40's....I don't know if P-40's were in Italy in 44 but they were in 43...and yes a P-40 can hold its own against a 109

Not too bad....good flight scenes through out the whole movie....
There is the bad guy a German 109 driver that gets shot down and comes back in a 262...a love intrest...you know typical movie...
