Interesting, never thought of painting the screws, guess I could give them a blob of paint.
I'm sure it will be all scratched up soon after some good BASHING!

Willy is done. What an amazing kit. Took 3 hours to build the chassis, and 2 days to do the body! I spent 1 hour on willy's face alone! GAH!

Some things - Tinted window, Frost yellow on chrome...

I added ballbearings to the tranny before the build. Weird that it comes "Pre-assembled".
Just a few screws to take it apart and replace all the bearings. Easy peasy.

Magic2002, did you rotate the rollbar lights down out of the way for running? Is that possible? Haven't finished building mine yet, so don't know if that is possible
I assume it would keep them...

I have plenty of hopups that would fit this thing I'm sure. Shocks, turnbuckles, motors, wheelhubs, etc.

So chassis #1 of the Willy x 2 build went fast. This thing is like an M04 just shaped differently. I'll get both chassis built (unless the wife wants to build hers herself), then move on to painting....

2 WW2's have arrived! First is all de-bagged and laid out on the worktable for construction!
This is going to be my wife's WW2. She's already picked out pink colors for a pink camo look. Heh.
