RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

Not bad at all considering how hard you run your truck. Even the very best top dollar machines will breakand wear outunder the torque of the Mamba Monster. Now that you have those CENdiffs, you...

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

Just setup your charger for whatever your packs are and let it do its thing. The Hyperion chargers are very nice....I love mine.

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

The Mamba Monster handles 25V...which more or less equates to a 6S pack. Check out their website for all the info on this ESC/Motor. http://www.castlecreations.com/products/mamba_monster.html

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

Sounds about right. My Hyperion 0606 charges my 3S packs around 12.7 volts. I have my MMM set to auto lipo and it cuts off at 18V (3V per cell) with a 6S source.

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

The way the E REVO BL and Savage Flux are setup, they use dual battery packs. Dual 2S packs give you 4S and dual 3S packs give you 6S. If you buy the Mamba Monster from Castle, it is setup to run off...

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

I'd send Castle an email and ask them what you can do.

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

Once Castle/HPI gives us something with a higher battery input limit, you will see insane speeds never thought to be obtainable by a MT. LOL:D

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

Not really....the truck will just tumble a whole lot. That's how I ripped off my rear bumper.

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

Castle's Mamba Monster setup and a 6S pack will keep your dog real busy. If you don't want to give your dog a heart attack, run a 3 or 4S pack.:D

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

Anybody that doubts the power of brushless and lipo is obviously oblivious to the obvious. Say that fast 5 times. LOL

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

Strange that you are having all these diff problems. I have had 0 problems with mine other than a ripped off rear bumper.......LOL. For those that are on the fence with the Flux, jump off it and into...

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

Not really true. If it were, the top rated and expensive stuff would never break, have issues, etc. Some people do equate a brand name with quality and that is not the right thing to do. I've had a...

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

Well hobbycity is backordered on all the "popular" Zippy lipos now. Seems word has gotten out about that place. LOL:D

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

That's why you buy lipos from hobbycity.......minimal cash outlay and if they only last X amount of cycles, well, you are money ahead of somebody that bought very expensive Max Amps (or comparable)...

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

Just hook it up to the charger on balance mode. Then drive the truck as you normally would when the pack is finished. Make sure your lipo cutoff is set-read your radio instructions for details. I...

RE: Just dropped ~$1200 on a Flux

At least 50 cycles. You can probably get more than that in all honesty if you charge them right, don't let them get below their cutoff and don't physically harm them.

edit-A little OT, but I've...

RE: Just dropped ~$1750 on a Flux! *PICS*

$1700 on a Flux with accessories? That's just insane. I have a massive collection of various mah 3S lipos, 2 lipo chargers, 4 sets of tires/wheels and 4 bodies and have yet to come close to that with...
