No, DuBro hinges are too thick to just push a pin through, of course, if you can do it without the pin bending (or you're lucky enough to hit one of the holes each time), all the power to you! :D

One way to make sure your CA Hinges are secure is to pin them. Some people drill holes and glue a toothpic through them, but I have a less intrusive way...

Push a straight pin (or T Pin) into...

That DID occur to me. Flutter may have contributed as well. But there does appear to be a serious lack of glue there. And once one hinge lets go, it won't be long before the others follow

Simple - There's no reason to.

Any hinge that has been properly installed will not fail as this one did.
