RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

I like the look of the canopy moved back, but I've compared some pics side-by-side and I think I still like the original better - Although I did notice that depending on the color scheme, the moved...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

I like those gear. That's the way to go if you're not using retracts.

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

I draw two lines by laying the rudder flat and laying a pen or pencil flat Shim one up if need be.

Draw one line, then flip the rudder over to draw the second.

The pic is of an aileron, but...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Zor, given a choice, which would you prefer, a plane whose controls are locked slightly out of whack and no control whatsoever, or a plane in which half od the controls are locked out of whack and...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Like this. I've never used it myself, but I have seen it many times. Note: The Rudder, Throttle, Flaps and retracts can be on either Rx.

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

The two receive option that AW spoke of is actually quite common in large-scale planes

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

No, AW is correct. Assuming you lose control of one Rx and the controls are relatively neutral, you still have one of your ailerons and one of your elevators working. This should give you enough...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Well, again, theoretically, the engine goes to idle, and there is a slight bank and up elevator, so the plane would go into a slow circle to the ground during which time you would hopefully regain...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

The theory is: If you lose signal, the engine goes to idle and the plane goes into a spin so that it crashes locally instead of ten miles away.

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

The best way I have found to flatten the plans is to tape it to a large dowel or the inner tube from a roll of covering and roll it up the opposite way.

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

The problem with those kits is that they LOOK like someone just threw all of the parts together!

Anything good is worth a little work.

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Not true. You only need the root and the tip.

Both LEs are the same and both TEs are the same. Stack 9 pieces of balsa between them and sand to shape.

It would be the same as if you were...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Back when (WAAAY back when) I flew pattern, you got points taken off if you blipped the throttle on a stall turn.

Ideally, You move the rudder just before the stall - Now when it stalls, the...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Odd, it usually does a stall turn nicely.

I would suggest triple-checking that you are pointing straight up, and/or try kicking in the rudder when you still have forward momentum.

I usually...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***
