RE: Santa is pondering a mini hobby grade car for my 3 year old son...

Kinda leaning towards that mini-T at the moment. Can that handle smaller pinon gears to slow it down a bit and keep some torque?

RE: Herr Pitts Special Kit Build Thread

Here's a pic of the plans showing the CG. It's roughly 15/16" behind the back edge of the main spar. I had to put my Rx pack as far forward as it could go under the cockpit area to get the CG on.

RE: Intellipeak ICE - detecting cut-off voltage incorrectly during discharge?

Forgot to note. I didn't have luck with my Tx pack but did with some smaller packs with regards to dropping the discharge rate. I recalled reading a while back that the Futaba Transmitters have a...

RE: Intellipeak ICE - detecting cut-off voltage incorrectly during discharge?

Good call - dropping the discharge rate a bit allowed the discharge to continue properly vs dying prematurely due to too much of a load. Thanks! :)

Intellipeak ICE - detecting cut-off voltage incorrectly during discharge?

I'm trying to discharge a 1650mAh NiMH 8-cell Tx pack and my Intellipeak ICE charger is hitting cut-off voltage detection even though it's nowhere near the minimum of .9V/cell.

RE: Cycling 3000mAh nimh - charge/discharge to reform?

This charger has the option to input up to 150% capacity when cycling. Default is set to 150% for cycling and .9v / cell discharge max. I changed the rates to .1C but like the idea of the .3C for...

RE: Battery Cycler - Hobbico Accu-Cycle or Great Planes ElectriFly Triton2?

Mostly NiMh and NiCd Rx and Tx packs now - 150mAh to 1600mAh. A few 3s1p 1700mAh lipo packs and a few 3000mAh NiMh car packs. This cycler would be primarily for my Rx and Tx packs.
