The insulation on the wires traxxas uses is prone to breaking. Get some shrink tubing for the wire, layer it two thick. That should stop the it from being exposed.

Stock mounts seat any .15 size engine. Most .18's will work as well. The TRX3.3 is made specifically to fit anything that you can drop a .15 into.

One bit of advice, and this is just me....I ALWAYS warm the cans in hot tap water before I spray and when the instructions say shake for 60 seconds, they mean it. Oh and only use poly carbonate paint...
