I use a mix that give a bit down elevator when I use the flaps. I find them very useful, I can do steep approaches without building up speed (as you can see in the video I have a very narrow towing...

Andy: sounds good. I have 3010-servos in my 90-size Yak 54. Since theese servos can produce high-current draw I would recommend a RX-battery...

Excuse me, but I thought andy_mk3 was a beginner - I don’t think that a 140-size plane i suitable for a beginner, but if he already can fly it will be a lovely plane.

S3004 are standard servos. Will be enough for the throttle but too weak for ailerons, flaps, elevator and rudder in this Cessna (stall torque 3,2 kg/cm at 4,8 V). If I remember the manual correctly...

An O.S. FS-91 is too small (it will be difficult to fly with that little power and a stall at low altitude with that engine will lead to a crash). You will also have to add extra weight in the front....

I think that the Robart nose strut discussed in this thread suits the 120-size (2100 mm) Cessna, not the 50-size. By the way, the 50-size seems to fly pretty fast!

The vibrations affects the video (my Cessna looks like jelly) so I will make a new camera mount with foam rubber to reduce the vibrations. On the glider there are no vibration (no engine).

Sounds a bit nose heavy to me. I have CG about 100 mm from leading edge at the wing roots and it's stable and lands at slow speed.
