depending on how bad the servos are there can be a big differance in feel. my buddy put some hitec hs 55s in his edge and while i was doing repairs on it i powered it up and they were much smoother...

take a look at your rudder and elevator pushrods/they cross over and touch usually. this has been a common glitch problem on this plane as well as others. if this is the problem on yours its easily...
