I'm pretty sure Azzman was talking about shimming the diff internals, thus the "before you filled it up with oil" part. Either way, the diffs are shimmed for side to side play, taking the gear mesh...

No, I've had a hard time finding shims for the spider gears. I shimmed it when I originally installed the alloy cups, but the shims disintegrated and created more problems than they seemed to solve....

I like the simplicity of a locker, but my truck drives like poo when the rear diff is locked up. It'd be fine for bashing, but won't turn corners very well at the track I run at.
