using the brass tube as the hinge line and trying to get a scale looking, tight canopy hinge line.
the canopy always binds on fuse when opening .
if you leave unsightly gaps it works fine.

hey guys, i am building a yellow 18 twin - old fuse ,and have tried the hinging for the operating canopy 3 diff ways and not happy with any of them.
would love some insight from those who have...

alot of guys take issue with being branded a cheater -only because they happen to fly a jet !
and as far as we know, last year not one pilot was caught using multiple gyro's in a jet !!!!!!!!!!!

again you are right on it . we had to do the same at the start pad and i was fine with it.

received invitation today , and now the jets are down to a 1% deduction according to the rule addendum and true taildraggers gain an additional 1%, and if they have retracts they get another 1/2%
