Yea losi always waits for everyone else to fix their problems , then copys it just like they did for the gear issue on the 1st MLST. Mip, DP productions and others deserve the credit for fixing...

yep i love mine too, just takes a few !00 bucks to make it reliable , if you race it like I do. but like you said it goes right over them 18T's, now they move out of the way when they see it coming....

No its not brussless I have the Exotek single servo chassis with the 1/10 scale servo and the steering is so much smoother it out handles my Rc18 factory team with a HS65 servo.

look back on the early mlst threads and there are pics of my mlst with an eflight 480 outrunner on 3 cell lipo, direct drive to the center diff, so fast I couldnt control it.

If you guys want to use a hitec hs65mg servo just buy a RC18T servo saver it will work. you just have to make a ball draglink to replace the zbend wire one.

With the conversion on my mlst2 I eat and spit out RC18's at the races or just go over the top of them. I'll stick to my mlst2

well you guys do what you want but I wasted enough money on my first mlst, I race so the Exotek chassis takes care of it all and if you dont want a big ***** servo you can put a low profile wing servo...

I wouldn't because by the time you upgrade the plastic gears and add alum shocks you can buy a new mlst2 , with a 2.4 ghz radio.

JR241's still wont take all that slop out of the steering with that cheap z bend wire system connecting the 2 servo savers together, and a good standard size High speed metal servo wont cost as much...

Ryan , what you say is the truth but you have to admit it is a nice looking truck after you fix all losi's weak points, I got 4th with my minilst in the 1st race of the semowrcs championship races...

Here is whats left of my original mlst, I had made my own single servo setup. LOL What the heck it worked. Inverted will fall on the ground laughing if he see's these photos

I thought he was refering to that z bend wire connecting the 2 stock servo savers , The single conversion uses 2 bellcranks and a ball joint bolted to the bellcranks , well my misunderstanding, but...

everything is the same except the diff gears and radio. I have been racing mine at semowrcs championships and so far i only broke a steering knuckle but i hit a brick wall so it wasn't the trucks...

I'ts a thermal shutdown issue with the new ESC, Put a ESC from the original MLST in it and it solves the problem.

I just put one in my mlst2 it is a totally different truck, smooth steering, goes straight, and is now raceable.
