Mine is not set up for pull-pull so I am using a 1" MLP aluminum arm and a carbon pushrod with a Hangar-9 pro link set up to give me 25 deg of travel. I used a 5945 servo to be sure I had enough...

1.25" if you want 3D throws, 1" are better for precision. And it depends how far you set the clevices ont he horns form the surfaces too...

I am using Karbonite gears on mine with a 40cc FPE gasser... just make sure the screws that came with your servos are the long ones and you will have no problems... the first batches of Karbonite...

Some other optional things to consider which I always use:
Solder-on fuel barbs for the fuel lines
A heavy duty clunk
If you want to mount your tank on the CG then a fuel pump/regulator for...

Tires, wheel axles, carbon fiber control rods and fuel tank (dubro 16 oz) come with the hardware set (at least they did in mine.) I chose to change some hardware for some pattern style ball-bearing...

I’m also a big fan of the “baby Edge.” I had a crazy first weekend with mine and almost wrote the plane off (luckily I ended up with nothing but some minor dings… but nothing at all to do...
