What I do with my Nomadio Transceivers is wrap the antenna around the inside of the radio box none of it out side. Have zero issues with range. I have it the same way on buggy and truggy.

Yes RBs take about 1 gallon before you can really start to tune them. All of my RBs didnt start to liven up until they had a gallon on them. I have 2-S7, S5 and S3. Great motors lots of pep.
