If you are going to get into the world of 3D i would definitely recommend that you get an ARF, mainly because you will be bashing planes and you should know how to put them back together.

its not the best but a little more heavy duty than the flatouts, and right around the same cost, is the yak 55 from hobby lobby. They are fun little planes and will do what you want them to.

Sound like it wasnt constructed correctly. I hardly ever fly mine outside but i have and i have had some pretty fast down lines and pulled hard no wing breakage. I hate to ever use epoxy on anything...

Well flying 3d is all about being unstable but controlled right? I would try it with out the brakes and sfg's made a huge difference for me, its well worth the lightly gained speed.
